Hello!
I live in a village in the Kent countryside that is also home to a famous castle! I have a partner and am a mother to a wonderful son and I'm learning to play the cello whenever I find a few spare moments! For many years I worked as an air stewardess for an airline and absolutely loved it. However, my flying career came to an end unexpectedly when the airline I worked for faced bankruptcy and I was made redundant. I was heartbroken at the time and wondered what on earth I would do, but knew that I needed a change of direction.

Becoming a celebrant was something that I had been considering for some time, possibly since my dear dad had passed away several years previous and we had a wonderful lady celebrant conduct dad's funeral service. She made a very difficult day a little easier and I often think of her now. So with my mind made up, I decided it was time to 'hang up my flying wings' as I knew I wanted to become a celebrant.

I trained to be a professional celebrant with The Institute of Professional Celebrants. My flying years had equipped me with many of the skills needed to be a good celebrant. I am most definitely a people's person who loves caring and helping others. I am professional and work extremely hard to give the level of service that is deserved. I listen intently to capture the essence of what families and couples want for celebrations and what is important to them. Everyone is unique and each service I perform reflects that. I'm dedicated to helping couples and families whether they are celebrating love, life or loss of a loved one.

For me, becoming a celebrant was a wonderful decision to make and I'm so glad that I made it!

Celebrancy is all about celebrating love, whether its helping a couple celebrate their love to one another in a wedding, or welcoming a new bundle of joy into a family with a baby naming ceremony, or celebrating the life of a loved one at a funeral.
As your celebrant I will take time to get to know you and listen to your ideas and work with you to create a ceremony that is incredibly special and completely unique to you. I will then deliver it in a meaningful way that is filled with warmth and love.

We will get to know each other in the time leading up to your celebration so that I can understand exactly what you require? I can then reflect personality and individuality into the ceremony making it so much more exclusive and meaningful to you on the day.
As a Professional Celebrant and a Member of the Institute of Professional Celebrants, I hold full Public and Private Liability Insurance which allows me to work at both indoor and outdoor venues.
